I had a horrifying experience today. I was at work and walking into the bathroom when I dropped my ChapStick®. I know what you are thinking – big deal, but when it hit the floor the lid cracked. It’s a brand new ChapStick® and I couldn’t just throw it away nor could I put it in my pocket so I set it on my desk with the cracked lid. I used it throughout my shift and carefully carried it out to my car where I placed it in my cup holder.

As I drove home I contemplated what to do about this dilemma and then I realized that I could take the lid from the ChapStick® in my living room. So I thought to myself “Problem solved”. Then I remembered that since I just opened the ChapStick® this week there was the possibility of the old one being in my kitchen garbage. Now I was really excited because that meant that both of the “live” ChapSticks® would have good lids.

You can all rest assured – I did get home and dig through my kitchen garbage to find the old lid. Amazingly there wasn’t any gooey garbage so I am good to go.

For those of you who know me you know what a trial this was but I am ok – no need to come rescue me. 🙂
